Night Shift consists of images of empty urban spaces at night – containing
only traces of a character's movement in desolate, yet familiar surroundings.
The notion of surveillance of urban spaces and its inhabitants, the ambiguity
of who is watching who and projections of fear are examined in Night Shift.
The viewer follows the protagonist's journey through the city from a distance –
both as a passive spectator and as the surveyor, which invokes an eerie
atmosphere.
